The Arlington Lions baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Hillcrest Trojans to 0 in the Lions league victory on Thursday.
The Lions (20-1) will now prepare for their match against Patriot (Jurupa Valley, CA). The Warriors go into the River Valley match with a 8-13 record. In their last match, Patriot was overwhelmed by Western Christian (Upland, CA), 19-0, in a non-league match.
The Trojans (3-16) will now prepare for their match against La Sierra (Riverside, CA). The Eagles go into the River Valley match with a 14-8 record. In their last match, La Sierra was overwhelmed by Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA), 4-3, in a non-league match.
