The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) and the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), saw Atkins's lacrosse team top High Point Central by a margin of 18-5.
The Camels (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Davie (Mocksville, NC). The War Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 2-12 record. In their last challenge, Davie was overwhelmed by West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC), 15-3, in a league challenge.
The Bison (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC). The Villains enter the Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Bishop McGuinness beat Grimsley (Greensboro, NC), 17-16, in a non-league challenge.
