The Williamstown Yellowjackets baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Grafton Bearcats to 5 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Monday.
The Yellowjackets now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ritchie County for a Little Kanawha test on Tuesday, April 8. Williamstown will play a Rebels team coming off a 11-1 league win over St. Marys (St. Marys, WV). The Rebels record now stands at 1-5.
With the defeat, Grafton drops to 7-5 on the year. The Bearcats travel to East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV) to play the Bees in a Big Ten test on Tuesday, April 8. The Bees go into the test with a record of 4-3. East Fairmont won 12-7 in their recent non-league test against Weir (Weirton, WV)
