In Monday's league test, the Whetstone Braves (Columbus, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Beechcroft Cougars (Columbus, OH), by a count of 14-2.
Next, the Braves meet the Bishop Hartley Hawks (Columbus, OH) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 8. Whetstone will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Hawks go into the test with a 6-2 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to London (London, OH).
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Mifflin (Columbus, OH). The Punchers go into the Columbus City - North test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Mifflin was routed by Centennial (Columbus, OH), 23-2, in a league test.
