The Whetstone Braves softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Beechcroft Cougars to 6 in the Braves league win on Friday.

The Braves now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bexley for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 6.

With the loss, Beechcroft moves to 1-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Marion-Franklin (Columbus, OH) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league battle on Monday, May 5. The Red Devils come into the battle with a record of 10-3. Marion-Franklin won 14-8 in their recent league battle against Walnut Ridge (Columbus, OH)
