In Monday's league test, the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) softball squad got by the host St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), by a tally of 5-4.

Next, the Chargers clash with the Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) in a Southern Maryland test, on Wednesday, April 9. Lackey will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record.

The (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Northern (Owings, MD). The Patriots go into the Southern Maryland test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Northern held off McDonough (Pomfret, MD), 18-0, in a league test.
