Connecticut High School Baseball - Avon Old Farms can't hold off Westminster School

In Friday's league game, the host Westminster School Martlets baseball team scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Avon Old Farms Beavers.
The Martlets (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Williston Northampton (Easthampton, MA). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Williston Northampton was edged by Millbrook School (Millbrook, NY), 9-7, in a league game.
The Beavers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Kingswood Oxford (West Hartford, CT). The Wyverns go into the NEPSAC Freelance game with a 1-1 record.
