Connecticut High School Baseball - Westminster School loses to Avon Old Farms

The Westminster School Martlets baseball team (Simsbury, CT), was overwhelmed 14-3 in Saturday's league outing with the host Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT)
The Beavers now hold a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loomis Chaffee School for a Founders outing on Wednesday, May 11. Avon Old Farms will confront a Pelicans team coming off a 16-1 league win over Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, NY). The Pelicans record now stands at 11-2.
Next, the Martlets confront the Choate Rosemary Hall School Wild Boars (Wallingford, CT) in a NEPSAC Freelance outing, on Wednesday, May 11. Westminster School will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Wild Boars go into the outing with a 4-8 record after their 20-7 league win over Kent School (Kent, CT).
