In Friday's league game, the visiting Los Gatos Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Cupertino Pioneers.
The Wildcats (10-8) will now prepare for their game against Aptos (Aptos, CA). The Mariners go into the non-league game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Aptos was overwhelmed by Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA), 6-2, in a non-league game.
The Pioneers (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Homestead (Cupertino, CA). The Mustangs go into the De Anza game with a 11-7 record. In their last game, Homestead was overwhelmed by Westmont (Campbell, CA), 18-1, in a non-league game.
