In Friday's league battle, the host Cranston East Thunderbolts volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Classical Purples.

The Thunderbolts (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Chargers come into the State Championship Division battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Chariho lost by North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Purples clash with the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) in a State Championship Division battle, on Monday, April 11. Classical will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Skippers come into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 3-1 league win over Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI).
