The Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) lacrosse triumphed over the host New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), 12-2 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Laney upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to North Brunswick (Leland, NC) to battle the Scorpions in a Mideastern outing on Tuesday, April 12. The Scorpions go into the outing with a record of 1-11. North Brunswick lost 14-1 in their recent league outing against South Brunswick (Southport, NC)
With the defeat, New Hanover drops to 3-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to battle the Pirates in a Mideastern outing on Tuesday, April 12. The Pirates go into the outing with a record of 12-0. Topsail won 13-0 in their recent league outing against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)
