The Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) soccer nudged the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), 3-2 in Friday's league bout.

With the win, Union Pines moves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC) to battle the Pirates in a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 13. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Corinth Holders lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Cleveland (Clayton, NC)

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets battle the Grace Christian Crusaders (Sanford, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 19. Lee County will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record.
