Plano East Panthers (Plano, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Plano West Wolves (Plano, TX), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 7-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Flower Mound for a 6A Region I District 6 challenge on Monday, April 11. Plano East will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Lewisville (Lewisville, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 14-9.

With the loss, Plano West moves to 5-13 on the season. The Wolves travel to Marcus (Flower Mound, TX) to face the Marauders in a 6A Region I District 6 match on Monday, April 11. The Marauders go into the match with a record of 17-8. Marcus lost 7-1 in their recent league match against Coppell (Coppell, TX)
