Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Newport defeats Susquenita

Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Newport Buffaloes (Newport, PA) and the visiting Susquenita Blackhawks (Duncannon, PA), saw Newport's baseball squad knock off Susquenita by a count of 8-2.

Coming up next, the Buffaloes play the West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 8. Newport will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Boiling Springs (Boiling Springs, PA).

The Blackhawks now possess a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Halifax for a Tri-Valley battle on Tuesday, April 11.
