Elmwood Park Tigers (Elmwood Park, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL), 11-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Edward for a Metro Suburban challenge on Monday, April 10.

With the loss, Lisle falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL) to battle the Comets in a Illinois Central Eight challenge on Monday, April 10. The Comets enter the challenge with a record of 1-7. Reed-Custer lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Normal West (Normal, IL)
