North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Topsail overwhelms Laney

April 8, 2025: Hampstead, NC 28443

The Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) lacrosse routed the visiting Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC), 13-8 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Pirates now own a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they host Ashley for a Mideastern outing on Thursday, April 10. Topsail will face a Screaming Eagle squad coming off a 23-8 league win over North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Screaming Eagle record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Laney falls to 4-4 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC) to face the Trojans in a Mideastern outing on Thursday, April 10. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 1-11. West Brunswick lost 18-6 in their recent league outing against South Brunswick (Southport, NC)
