Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) and the host Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC), witnessed Apex's lacrosse squad hold off Holly Springs by a count of 12-11.

The Cougars (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Green Level (Cary, NC). The Gators enter the Southwest Wake contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Green Level nipped Apex Friendship (Apex, NC), 14-13, in a league contest.

Next, the Golden Hawks meet the Green Level Gators (Cary, NC) in a Southwest Wake contest, on Monday, April 14. Holly Springs will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record.
