The Holly Springs Golden Hawks lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the host Apex Cougars to 13 in the Golden Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.
The Golden Hawks now own a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they host Panther Creek for a Southwest Wake challenge on Wednesday, May 7. Holly Springs will clash with a Catamounts squad coming off a 21-3 league loss to Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Catamounts record now stands at 2-17.
With the loss, Apex falls to 16-4 on the year.
