The Dixie Hornets softball team scored 22 runs and held the host Abbeville Panthers to 6 in the Hornets league win on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thornwell for a A Region 1 battle on Wednesday, April 9. Dixie will confront a Saints team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC). The Saints record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Abbeville moves to 7-8 on the season. The Panthers host Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC) to confront the Hornets in a A Region 1 battle on Friday, April 11.
