The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Lexington Wildcats (Lexington, SC) and the visiting Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC), observed Lexington's softball team get by Chapin by a tally of 9-3.

The Wildcats (15-2) will now prepare for their bout against Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC). The Silver Foxes go into the AAAAA Region 4 bout with a 6-9 record. In their last bout, Dutch Fork tipped White Knoll (Lexington, SC), 5-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 10. Chapin will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 16-0 league win over Columbia (Columbia, SC).
