The St. Joseph Academy Flashes triumphed over the visiting Crescent City Raiders softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Flashes meet the St. Johns Country Day Spartans (Orange Park, FL) in a 2A District 2 challenge, on Wednesday, April 9. St. Joseph Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Harvest Community (Jacksonville, FL).
The Raiders (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Taylor (Pierson, FL). The Wildcats enter the 3A District 3 challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Taylor was routed by DeLand (DeLand, FL), 10-9, in a non-league challenge.
