North Carolina High School Softball - Perquimans bounces Martin County

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) and the visiting Martin County Gators (Williamston, NC), observed Perquimans's softball team prevail over Martin County by a tally of 16-6.

The Pirates (13-1) will now prepare for their bout against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies go into the non-league bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Grassfield toppled Indian River (Chesapeake, VA), 12-0, in a league test.

The Gators (14-1) will now prepare for their test against Eastern Christian HomeSchool (Washington, NC). The Trailblazers go into the non-league test with a 7-1 record.
