Texas High School Softball - Port Isabel gets by Valley View

In Tuesday's league match, the host Port Isabel Tarpons softball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Valley View Tigers.
The Tarpons (3-10) will now prepare for their match against Hidalgo (Hidalgo, TX). The Pirates go into the 4A Region IV District 32 match with a 0-13 record. In their last match, Hidalgo was nipped by La Feria (La Feria, TX), 21-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Hidalgo Pirates (Hidalgo, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 32 match, on Tuesday, April 15. Valley View will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Pirates go into the match with a 0-14 record after their 10-0 league loss to Port Isabel (Port Isabel, TX).
