California High School Softball - Roosevelt edges Santiago

In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Roosevelt Mustangs softball team scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Santiago Sharks.
The Mustangs (11-6) will now prepare for their match against Centennial (Corona, CA). The Huskies go into the Big VIII match with a 8-8 record. In their last match, Centennial by Norco (Norco, CA), 4-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Sharks battle the Corona Panthers (Corona, CA) in a Big VIII match, on Thursday, April 10. Santiago will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The Panthers go into the match with a 11-5 record after their 16-6 league loss to King (Riverside, CA).
