Virginia High School Softball - Stuarts Draft bounces Staunton

In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Stuarts Draft Cougars softball team scored a nice 20-1 win over the Staunton Storm.

The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Bison come into the Shenandoah match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Buffalo Gap was routed by Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA), 18-8, in a league match.

In their next game, the Storm confront the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) in a Shenandoah match, on Friday, April 11. Staunton will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Green Hornets come into the match with a 4-3 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Page County (Shenandoah, VA).
