Virginia High School Softball - Staunton knocked off by Stuarts Draft

The Stuarts Draft Cougars overwhelmed the visiting Staunton Storm softball squad by a count of 23-2 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. Stuarts Draft will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Mavericks go into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 4-0 league loss to Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA).

The Storm (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Little Giants go into the Shenandoah challenge with a 1-12 record.
