The Lewis County Lions softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Bourbon County Colonels to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Lewis County improves its record to 10-0 on the year. The Lions host Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY) to clash with the Colonels in a non-league game on Monday, April 11. The Colonels come into the game with a record of 4-2.

In their next game, the Colonels clash with the Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) in a District 40 game, on Tuesday, April 12. Bourbon County will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
