The Groton-Dunstable Crusaders crushed the visiting Fitchburg Red Raiders baseball team by a count of 16-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Crusaders now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marlborough for a Midland-Wachusett B bout on Friday, April 12. Groton-Dunstable will face a Panthers team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Lunenburg (Lunenburg, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.
Next, the Red Raiders face the South Colonels (Worcester, MA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 10. Fitchburg will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Colonels enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 12-6 non-league loss to Burncoat (Worcester, MA).
