The West Johnston Wildcats baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans to 0 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Rolesville (Rolesville, NC). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 6-9 record. In their last match, Rolesville gained a win over Knightdale (Knightdale, NC), 5-0, in a league match.

The Spartans (2-12) will now prepare for their match against Fike (Wilson, NC). The Demons go into the Quad County 3A match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Fike was overwhelmed by North Duplin (Calypso, NC), 12-1, in a non-league match.
