In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Bernards Mountaineers softball team scored a close 7-6 win over the The Pingry School Big Blue.
Coming up next, the Mountaineers battle the Ridge Red Devil (Basking Ridge, NJ) in a Skyland - Raritan outing, on Wednesday, April 10. Bernards will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Red Devil enter the outing with a 0-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ).
The Big Blue (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Warren Hills Regional (Washington, NJ). The Blue Streaks enter the Skyland - Raritan outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Warren Hills Regional was tipped by Gill St. Bernard's (Gladstone, NJ), 5-4, in a non-league outing.
