The Chapin Eagles softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting River Bluff Gators to 1 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Chapin improves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Eagles host Lexington (Lexington, SC) to clash with the Wildcats in a AAAAA Region 4 game on Wednesday, April 10. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 8-4. Lexington lost 10-9 in their recent league game against Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC)

In their next game, the Gators clash with the White Knoll Timberwolves (Lexington, SC) in a AAAAA Region 4 game, on Friday, April 12. River Bluff will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Timberwolves come into the game with a 4-11 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Cane Bay (Summerville, SC).
