In Tuesday's league contest, the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), by a margin of 23-0.

With the triumph, Monticello moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to play the Warriors in a Jefferson contest on Friday, April 12. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 1-4. Western Albemarle lost 7-6 in their recent league contest against Goochland (Goochland, VA)

In their next game, the Black Knights play the Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) in a Jefferson contest, on Wednesday, April 10. Charlottesville will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 2-1 league loss to Orange County (Orange, VA).
