Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) and the visiting Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA), witnessed Fluvanna County's softball squad tip Western Albemarle by a count of 7-2.

The Flying Flucos now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Orange County for a Jefferson match on Wednesday, April 10. Fluvanna County will meet a Fighting Hornets squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Western Albemarle moves to 1-3 on the season. The Warriors host Goochland (Goochland, VA) to meet the Bulldogs in a Jefferson match on Wednesday, April 10. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 4-2. Goochland won 15-3 in their recent league match against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA)
