The Northwest Guilford Vikings softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Grimsley Whirlies to 0 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Northwest Guilford moves its record to 13-0 on the year. The Vikings travel to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 10. The Grizzlies come into the game with a record of 14-0. Oak Grove won 6-2 in their recent league game against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC)

In their next game, the Whirlies clash with the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A game, on Friday, April 12. Grimsley will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record.
