Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM), 17-3 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aztec for a 4A District 1 challenge on Thursday, April 11. Miyamura will face a Tigers squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Shiprock (Shiprock, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, Kirtland Central falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Gallup (Gallup, NM) to face the Bengals in a 4A District 1 challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Bengals enter the challenge with a record of 12-5. Gallup won 14-4 in their recent league challenge against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM)
