Virginia High School Softball - Matoaca bounces Petersburg

The Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA) softball routed the host Petersburg Crimson Wave (Petersburg, VA), 14-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Warriors (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against Hopewell (Hopewell, VA). The Blue Devils go into the Central bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Hopewell toppled Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA), 25-4, in a league bout.
The Crimson Wave now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dinwiddie for a Central bout on Thursday, April 11. Petersburg will confront a Generals squad coming off a 10-8 league win over Prince George (Prince George, VA). The Generals record now stands at 5-1.
