New York High School Baseball - Valley Central wallops Monticello

The Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) baseball trounced the host Monticello Panthers (Monticello, NY), 10-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Minisink Valley for a Section 9 Orange County II challenge on Thursday, April 10. Valley Central will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 15-11 league loss to Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Monticello drops to 0-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY) to clash with the Wizards in a Section 9 Orange County II challenge on Friday, April 11. The Wizards go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Washingtonville won 15-11 in their recent league challenge against Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY)
