The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) and the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), saw Taos's baseball team get by Pojoaque Valley by a tally of 12-11.

The Tigers (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos enter the 4A District 2 battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Moriarty was tipped by Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM), 15-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Elks/Elkettes face the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a 4A District 2 battle, on Saturday, April 12. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the battle with a 9-4 record after their 22-4 league win over Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM).
