The Bears (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles enter the United Eight 3A/4A battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Douglas Byrd was overwhelmed by Hoke County (Raeford, NC), 5-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Pirates confront the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A battle, on Thursday, April 10. Lumberton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 6-6 record after their 9-0 league win over Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC).
