Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC), 16-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Catawba Ridge improves its record to 18-0 on the year. The Copperheads host Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC) to play the Warriors in a AAAAA Region 3 game on Tuesday, April 15. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 8-4. Indian Land won 8-2 in their recent league game against Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC)

The Trojans now have a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they host South Pointe for a non-league bout on Monday, April 14. Northwestern will clash with a Stallions team coming off a 18-5 league loss to York (York, SC). The Stallions record now stands at 2-13.
