The Chapin Eagles softball team scored 15 runs and held the host River Bluff Gators to 6 in the Eagles league win on Wednesday.

The Eagles now possess a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mid-Carolina for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 10. Chapin will confront a Rebels team coming off a 16-0 league win over Columbia (Columbia, SC). The Rebels record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, River Bluff moves to 5-9 on the season. The Gators travel to Irmo (Columbia, SC) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a AAAAA Region 4 battle on Thursday, April 10. The Yellow Jackets come into the battle with a record of 2-8. Irmo lost 14-4 in their recent league battle against Lexington (Lexington, SC)
