The South View Tigers softball squad (Hope Mills, NC), 9-7 in Wednesday's league contest with the host Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC)

With the triumph, Purnell Swett improves its record to 7-9 on the year. The Rams host Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC) to face the Falcons in a United Eight 3A/4A contest on Friday, April 11. The Falcons enter the contest with a record of 2-11. Seventy-First lost 23-0 in their recent league contest against Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC)

The Tigers now have a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Gray's Creek for a United Eight 3A/4A test on Thursday, April 10. South View will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 7-2 league win over Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Bears record now stands at 16-1.
