Rhode Island High School Volleyball - Classical can't hold off Chariho

May 1, 2023: Wood River Junction, RI 02894

In Monday's league battle, the host Chariho Chargers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Classical Purples.

The Chargers (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Thunderbolts come into the Division 1 (State) battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Cranston East was edged by Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Purples clash with the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) in a Division 1 (State) battle, on Wednesday, May 3. Classical will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Skippers come into the battle with a 9-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI).
