North Carolina High School Soccer - Lejeune overwhelmed by East Carteret

In Monday's league battle, the visiting East Carteret Mariners soccer squad scored a good 8-0 triumph over the Lejeune Devil Pups.
The Mariners (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Southside (Chocowinity, NC). The Seahawks come into the Coastal Plains 1A/2A battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Southside was overwhelmed by SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Devil Pups (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC). The Panthers come into the Coastal Plains 1A/2A battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Northside - Pinetown was overwhelmed by East Carteret (Beaufort, NC), 11-0, in a league battle.
