In Wednesday's league game, the East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting Lejeune Devil Pups (Camp Lejeune, NC), by a final score of 9-0.
The Mariners (12-5) will now prepare for their game against Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC). The Bears go into the non-league game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, Bear Grass Charter was overwhelmed by John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC), 5-1, in a non-league game.
