The East Rowan Mustangs soccer team scored 3 points and limited the host North Stanly Comets to 2 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Monday.

Next, the Mustangs face the Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A contest, on Tuesday, May 2. East Rowan will attempt to better on its 6-12 season record. The Spiders enter the contest with a 0-15 record after their 9-0 league loss to Carson (China Grove, NC).

The Comets now have a 3-16 record. They take the field next when they host Union Academy for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A contest on Wednesday, May 3. North Stanly will face a Cardinals team coming off a 9-0 league win over Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 15-3.
