Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hidden Valley for a River Ridge challenge on Tuesday, May 2. Pulaski County will battle a Titans squad coming off a 11-6 non-league win over Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Titans record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, George Wythe falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Graham (Bluefield, VA) to battle the G-Men in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 3. The G-Men enter the challenge with a record of 5-8. Graham lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Tazewell (Tazewell, VA)
