Orchard Park Quakers (Orchard Park, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lancaster Legends (Lancaster, NY), 5-3 in a league challenge.

The Quakers now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Clarence for a Section 6 Erie County I challenge on Thursday, May 2. Orchard Park will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Lancaster falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Legends host Williamsville North (Williamsville, NY) to face the Spartans in a Section 6 Erie County I challenge on Friday, May 3. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 1-7.
