The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Lancaster Legends (Lancaster, NY) and the host Orchard Park Quakers (Orchard Park, NY), saw Lancaster's softball squad nip Orchard Park by a count of 6-2.

The Legends now sport a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairport for a non-league match on Saturday, June 1. Lancaster will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 9-2 league win over Rush-Henrietta (Henrietta, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Orchard Park falls to 15-3 on the campaign.
