Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA) and the host Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA), saw Hopewell's soccer squad prevail over Dinwiddie by a count of 4-0.
The Blue Devils (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA). The Colonials enter the Central battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Colonial Heights tipped Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Generals battle the Thomas Dale Knights (Chester, VA) in a Central battle, on Tuesday, May 6. Dinwiddie will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 1-10 record after their 2-0 league win over Prince George (Prince George, VA).
